Downtown Cincinnati Inc. had developed a campaign to encourage people to visit downtown and patronize downtown Cincinnati business. They wanted to continue this campaign from print and their website across additional platforms by developing a series of commercials of various lengths that could be used for broadcast and streaming.
In keeping with the style of the campaign, Flaming Medusa used photographs that emphasized attractive features of Cincinnati to potential visitors; issues such as increased safety and cleanliness, the variety and types of activities that are available, shopping opportunities, and the breadth of hotels and restaurants that are located downtown were highlighted in the photography selections.
Flaming Medusa gave the photographs life and depth with animation and After Effects, designed the titles to work within the larger campaign, then selected the music and mixed the sound to prepare it for broadcast.
The resulting video was cut into :30, :15 and :10 spots to provide a flexible selection of options to network programmers.
